I'm shocked. It's hard to find words for what it's like to be a Boston sports fan.

The Bruins are on their way to the Stanley Cup Finals. Let me say that again: THE BOSTON BRUINS ARE GOING TO THE STANLEY CUP FINALS TO PLAY FOR ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP.

I truly can't even fathom what has happened over almost the last two decades in Boston. It's even crazier to think what has happened just within the last year.

It's easy to forget that Chris Sale, Mookie Betts and the Boston Red Sox won the World Series and are the defending champs. Most of us didn't exactly expect a World Series title heading into the season, but here we are. It was a pleasant surprise and it was amazing to watch them completely and utterly dominate baseball all season long.

Then, naturally, the Patriots were in the title picture. They always are, but they showed their cracks more this season than most in recent memory. They didn't look like the juggernaut we're used to. For once they had to win a playoff game on the road because of it. Yet, here we are. They pulled it out and Tom Brady further etched himself in the history books.

The Celtics were a title favorite heading into the season. We all know they were a tragic dumpster fire for most of the year. They got handled in the second round of the playoffs, which ended a very disappointing season, but there are A LOT of cities that would LOVE to see their team win a playoff round.

Now we have the Bruins. The Bruins quietly were solid all year and have been thrilling in the playoffs. With some wild upsets around them in the Stanley Cup picture, they've become the favorite to win it all. They will have the home ice advantage in the Finals!

If the B's can pull this out, I don't know how Boston can top it. I mean, the only way you can do better is to have all four teams come home with a title. It's absolutely insane to think that's the only way Boston can top itself now.

I don't know how long this all will go on, but I've said it before and I'll say it again. We need to appreciate what's happening, because this could be the cap to this consistent dominance. If it is, it's been one hell of a run. If it's not, I'll continue to have my mind explode.
