Not sure I ever thought about doing this, and honestly not sure if I want to even try it. There are some winemakers in California that are making marijuana-laced wine. Not two things I would necessarily think would go good together.

You wouldn't think the same person that partakes in a glass of wine would also be the same person to light one up and get high.

The company currently making this wine is calling it simply Mary Jane Wines. Not very creative if you ask me.

I'm curious as to how drinking this would make you feel. Wine usually relaxes me enough to go to bed. Or a nice glass of white wine usually gets me feeling great for a night out.

Now don't get too excited. There are a few requirements for being able to legally consume with weed-wine.

  • You can get your hands on a bottle only with a prescription.
  • It’s pretty expensive, like $120-400 for half a bottle (yikes).
  • It’s only available in the state of California.

I have a feeling this is just the beginning of making combinations like this. I won't be trying this if it ever comes to the SouthCoast.

What about you? Have you tried it? Do you plan on trying this combination? Is this combination a total stretch for both wine and cannabis purveyors?
