Bruins Blamed For Fairhaven Wind Turbine Issue

Early this week, the Fairhaven Board of Health ordered the Fairhaven Wind Turbine developer to shut down the two turbines between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.  That did not happen on Wednesday.  Why?  Sumul Shah says he was distracted by the Bruins Stanley Cup final game.

Shah turns the turbines on and off through his cellphone.   He said that on Wednesday he accidentally left the cellphone in a separate room and didn't hear the alarm that would remind him to shut down the turbines for the night.

Shah assured residents of the town that the same mistake won't happen on Saturday night when the Bruins play game 2 of the series against Chicago.   Some of those opposed to the turbines are now questioning Shah's system for turning off the turbines
