Hopefully, by now we have all properly grieved the closing of Toys R Us and prepared for saying farewell to one of our childhood favorites on April 21. When the announcement came that Toys R Us would be indefinitely closing all stores on April 21, people were panicked about what they were going to do with their unused gift cards. If your local Toys R Us is cleaned out or don't want to use them at the toy store, you do have another option: Bed, Bath & Beyond!

However, there is a catch - you would have to exchange the gift card by 11:59 p.m. TONIGHT (Thursday, April 4). You HAVE TO make the exchange online, so it's actually not too much of a hassle to get it done by the deadline. You can make the exchange here.

You also will not get the full amount of your Toys R Us card back - for example, if you exchange a $100 Toys R Us card, you'll get just about $64 in return. So not the full amount, but at least you won't miss out on ALL of it.

P.S. - I went into the Dartmouth Toys R Us earlier this week. They still have TONS of stuff but the "closeout" deals aren't the most impressive.
