Time in Fairhaven Comes to an End

Potting Bench Florist & Gifts will close up shop on Friday, July 31, 2026. "After six years of serving the Fairhaven, New Bedford and surrounding communities, the time has come for me to step into retirement," owner Danielle Priebe said.

For decades, Priebe has been providing beautiful bouquets and gorgeous gifts to her community. It's a time she looks back upon fondly, calling it a "wonderful journey."

"I’m grateful not only for your support but also for the friendships and memories made along the way. I will cherish them and hold them dear," she said.

Final Sales and Closing Timeline Explained

Though she won't officially say goodbye until the end of July, Priebe said most services will stop by June 30 to allow enough time to close.

She reminds her loyal customers to use any remaining gift cards they may have.

Additionally, Priebe will be selling shelving, bookcases and other merchandise. Plus, she will also offer great sales on seasonal items.
