It didn't matter that he was dressed up like a Ninja, the store clerk still tried to fight him off.

The Herald News is reporting that a store clerk at The Farm Market on Cherry St in Fall River chased a robber out of the store after being assaulted by hime.  When police arrived they found the 35-year old clerk with a few bruises on his arm after taking a hit from the suspect.

As quoted in Herald News, the clerk told police... “The clerk stated a Hispanic male came into the store with a bandana covering his face,” said Sgt. Kevin Medeiros, a department spokesman. “The male attacked him with an expandable baton in an attempt to rob the store."

Police have leads leads after viewing surveillance video and the robber is described as wearing a baseball cap, a gray bandana, a black long-sleeved shirt and black sweatpants. He was last seen running south on Durfee Street.
