Healthy Kids Day is coming to all of the YMCA Southcoast branches and your kids are invited for FREE.

This summer kick-off fun day is a great way to introduce your family to the local YMCA Southcoast branch and learn more about what YMCA Southcoast can offer your family this summer. The best part is that it’s a great, FREE way to burn off some energy and touch a bunch of really cool trucks!

At Wareham’s Gleason Center your family can Touch-a-Truck with the Wareham Fire Department while you get a free car seat safety inspection done. From there you can let the kids go bananas in the bounce house, watch the LL Bean Hiking & Fly Fishing demo, the Plymouth County Sherriff’s Department K9 demo, participate in Scott’s MLB Hit & Run competition and tons more! Gleason’s Healthy Kids Day starts at 12n and ends at 2pm Get all the details at their Facebook event page here:

At Mattapoisett’s YMCA location your family can play in the Gaga (dodgeball) pit, enjoy some fruit smoothies and then take a family-friendly POUND class. Your kids can try out some camp activities, take a tour and more starting at 10am. Find more about their event here:

At the Downtown New Bedford branch, your kids can play gym games, pool games, do some arts & crafts and jump around in a bounce house. They’ll have open house for any future campers and great prizes and giveaways, too. Follow along with their event details here:

The Dartmouth branch’s activities start at 11am and include Touch-a-Truck and summer kick-off activities for kids. Try out some of their programs like Martial Arts, take a tour of camp (including their working farm!) Follow along for more details & specials here:
