Adaptive Dance on the SouthCoast

The New Bedford Ballet is offering classes for children with special needs.

Adaptive dance is an opportunity for children who just need extra help to enjoy the experience of dance and music in a positive and supporting environment. Adaptive dance can help children improve their coordination, overall fitness, self-esteem, balance, self-expression, teamwork, rhythm, and musicality.

When: Thursdays 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: New Bedford Ballet, 2343 Purchase Street, New Bedford MA 02746

Cost: $46 for a four-week session

Ages: 5-12 years old
