Where to Find Dolly Parton’s Free Book Program on the SouthCoast

The passing of Dolly Parton has many diving deeper into the late singer's career and life outside of the music world. One of her biggest contributions to her community and now the world is the Imagination Library. For 31 years, the program has been helping educate children, including those right here on the SouthCoast.

Where SouthCoast Families Can Register

So far, two local locations are part of the Imagination Library. Those in the Wareham and Middleboro communities can visit their local library for more information or fill out an online form to register.

Free Monthly Books for Kids Under 5

The Imagination Library mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income. Her passion project has made a big difference in the lives of local children not only in her home state of Tennessee, but across the U.S. and even the world in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Canada and Australia.

Participating Mass. Imagination Library Locations

The book gifting program has provided over 330 million books for more than three million children around the world. A total of 4,476 children are currently enrolled throughout all of Massachusetts, including right here on the SouthCoast. Participating locations include:
