Do you know a kid who is just straight-up awesome? If you do, then you know that sometimes it’s a little hard to express this thought and make them truly believe it.

Lucky for you, there’s a day dedicated to all of the awesome kids out there who just do the most. Absolutely Incredible Kid Day, brought to you by Camp Fire, is a day in which adults recognize the incredible kids in their lives by doing something out of the norm.

I've always been a fan of local events that help out our youth, especially when it involves the word "incredible" in it. A good friend of mine by the name of Christian McCloskey reached out to me with a great idea to help out the community and I had to jump on board with it.

Looking to get involved? Simply write out a letter expressing how much they and all of their hard work means to you. Maybe you could leave some Post-It notes around the house with some words of encouragement, or even just making a post on social media using the hashtag: #AIKD

Remember, every kid matters and this is the confidence boost you can give them just by writing a letter. Celebrate your awesome kid on March 18, 2021, to let them know just how awesome they are.

If you’re stuck and need some help, Camp Fire has your back:
