A Salon Owner in New Bedford Found Herself on the Same Boat as Drake’s Son in Aruba
Imagine one minute you're relaxing on vacation in Aruba and the next you're sitting beside the son of a world-famous rapper.
That's exactly what happened to Michelle Garcia, a hair stylist who owns Studio M Beauty Lounge. Garcia does everything from blowouts to extensions to eyebrow waxing and shaping at her New Bedford business.
While in Aruba on vacation recently, she booked a glass-bottom boat tour and found herself on the same excursion as Drake's son Adonis Graham.
"I knew right away who he was when the woman he was with called him 'Addie,'" Garcia said. "Also, they raised their hands when asked if there were any Canadians on board."
The famous 5-year-old was sporting a Coco Chanel wallet with "crispy $100 bills," Garcia said.
She captured the moment in a TikTok video.
"After the excursion, I went up to them when they were casually walking to their car alone and I said, 'I didn’t want to do this in front of everyone but we are huge fans. Hi, Adonis!”
The woman caring for Adonis replied, "That's so sweet, thank you so much."
There was no sign of Drake around, and it's unknown who the caretaker was.
You never know who you might run into these days. Including the son of one of the biggest rappers in the world.
