Trinity Repertory Company is hosting their 24th Annual Pell Awards Gala in Providence tonight, with two beloved Hollywood actors being honored.

Power couple Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen are this year's recipients of the Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts and have arrived in Rhode Island for the gala event.

And it didn't take long for them to be spotted around town.

Get our free mobile app reported that the pair are staying at The Beatrice Hotel and were seen dining at the hotel's Bellini restaurant Monday afternoon.

Both actors are being recognized at the gala not just for their extensive bodies of work in the industry, but also for their generous humanitarian and environmental work with various organizations over the years.

The event itself is being held at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence and is the first awards gala to be held since 2019.

Many local artists and activists are being recognized along with the Hollywood power couple and all proceeds from the event are going to support Trinity Rep’s artistic, education, and community engagement programs.

No word on how long the actors might linger in town or if Danson might want to take a swing further north to visit his former Cheers stomping grounds, but we're sure they can find plenty to do in the smallest state if they really wanted to.
