I love a happy ending, especially when it involves kitty cats!

A cat named Slinky who went missing in April recently returned home. But the cats safe return is not the most miraculous part of the story. Slinky went missing from Portsmouth, Rhode Island and was found in Rochester, Massachusetts.

That's right, Slinky somehow crossed state lines and made it more than 35 miles before being brought to a vet on the Cape to be scanned for a microchip. Slinky also would have had to cross at least one bridge to get off of Aquidneck, Island.

Dr. Gary O'Neal with the Portsmouth Veterinary Clinic says nobody knows how Slinky managed to escape and go one his little road trip, but everyone is glad that he made it home safe and sound.

I would love to know exactly how he got to Rochester and if anyone happened to give the little guy a lift of some shelter over the last 2 months. But I guess that is Slinky's little secret.
