Abominable

Written by Jill Culton, this family-friendly animated film follows a teenage girl named Yi (voiced by Chloe Bennet) and her two friends on their journey to help a Yeti find his way home and reunite him with his family. Their biggest challenge is to stay ahead of wealthy zoologist Dr. Zara (voiced by Sarah Paulson) and crazy explorer Burnish (voiced by Eddie Izzard) who plan on capturing the Yeti and using him for their own profit. This film features stunning animation, heartwarming scenes, and a cast that makes every character unique.

"A young girl helps a yeti find his way back home." -Willie Waffle

Willie says that audiences will easily fall in love with Everest the adorable yeti. When asked if any of the scenes would be scary to children, Willie said it depends on "how your kids react to things on the screen and how real do they feel it is," since the film shows scenes of the characters in peril.

WILLIE WAFFLE'S POINT SYSTEM:

Abominable =  2 1/2 Waffles

*The Waffle Spectrum ranges from 0 to 4 Waffles*

For those who are not interested in seeing a family movie, Willie recommends checking out It Chapter Two, Between Two Ferns, and Inside Bill's Brain. Look out for next week when Willie talks about The Joker.
