You may have seen his work without realizing it, but Frank Grace of Trig Photography has become one of our most favorite local photographers, simply because he reminds us why New England can be so creepy even after Halloween has come and gone.

Frank has taken photos all over New England but his specialty seems to be stuff not normally considered photo-worthy. From abandoned buildings like New Bedford's Orpheum Theater and local cemeteries to Halloween displays and haunted houses, these photos get us super psyched for the cool weather to get finally here.

From my earliest memories, the weird, mysterious and paranormal has always captured my imagination. I blame it on my Dad for having so many books on UFOs around the house, ha. I guess it is because there are so many things we don't understand but want to in the worse way. We want to know why something happens or why we can experience that but definition we should not.  For me, Halloween captures all of this. The costumes, scares and most importantly for me, the ghost stories and creepy legends that get told around the Halloween season.  I try and capture these feeling of wonder, questioning and creepiest in many of my photos. It is almost like trying to tell a story in a single image, but I didn't set out to do that, it just happened. The final image ends up finding me.

All this aside, Frank is actually a pretty normal guy. Born in Fall River, raising a family in Acushnet and working his "real job" as a Director of Research and Development for a textile company in Taunton.
