New Bedford Puppy Found in Abandoned Trailer [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! It's the best day of the week.
Animals deserve to feel the love that a forever home can bring. It is our mission to get as many animals adopted as possible through Wet Nose Wednesday.
With the help of local shelters, we share the stories of animals up for adoption. This week, we head to New Bedford where a sweet puppy is looking to steal your heart.

Meet Marshall. Marshall is an 8-month-old, 58-pound plott hound mix currently under the care of Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford.
This poor pup was found in an abandoned trailer with his brother, who later disappeared.
"The people who had been feeding him decided to place him in a 10 x 10 kennel to keep him from getting lost or killed by a predator," said the shelter. "He remained in the kennel for about three months, receiving food and little else, until he was taken to a foster home."
Now that he's at Lighthouse Animal Shelter, he is making incredible progress and his sweet personality is starting to shine.

Marshall loves other dogs and thrives around his new friends. He is playful, energetic, and eager to learn.
He is crate-trained, but could use a little more practice. He is a puppy after all.
"Marshall is truly a diamond in the rough," said the shelter. "A dog with endless potential who just needs the right person to help him shine."

Marshall cannot wait to meet you.
