What Happened on Nash Road?
The incident happened on Thursday morning on Nash Road in New Bedford. The bus driver is seen on video crossing a double yellow line and driving on the wrong side of the road to pass several stopped cars that were stuck in traffic.
In the video, the driver proceeds to pass Bombshell Lashes and take a left onto Stanley Street, heading the wrong way down the one-way street. The witness who recorded the video told Fun 107 that he believes the bus had children on board at the time.

Fun 107 shared the video with the New Bedford Police Department on Friday morning. By Friday afternoon, a New Bedford Police spokesperson told us that the video was forwarded to the North End Commander for his review, and that the department would be looking into the matter.
Driver Cited and Terminated
The bus driver was issued citations for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation and traveling the wrong way on a one-way street.
“We were also informed that the bus driver has since been terminated from the company,” NBPD Public Information Officer Holly Huntoon said. She confirmed that the bus company involved was Tremblay Bus Company.
