Meet Lula. Lula is a 6-month-old, 20-pound hound residing at Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford. She loves her toys and loves getting attention from humans.

"She even likes being held like a baby," said the shelter.

Lula is a young pup and is eager for attention, so she will need some training on manners.

"Lula is food motivated and loves her people, so she is absolutely ready to learn new things," said the shelter.

The shelter recommends that Lula be the only dog in the home while she continues to grow and learn her manners, but she would do well with doggy play dates.
