Weekly Quarantine Cocktails: Frozen Strawberry-Lime Margaritas [VIDEO]
Another week down and most of you are still stuck in the house. It was especially tough this past week, when Cinco de Mayo fell on a Taco Tuesday but we couldn't properly celebrate because we were on lockdown.
Welcome into Week 8 of the whole social distancing/home-quarantining era, perhaps the toughest week yet.
If you're starting to feel that weird funk lately, don't worry about it, you're not alone. Extraverts from all over the world are itching to get out of the house to return to their favorite watering holes only to socialize over a delicious cold adult beverage.
Now, I might not be able to help with the social interaction aspect, but I can certainly assist in a little island oasis that you can experience right in the comfort of your own home.
Allow me to introduce to you my famous Frozen Strawberry-Lime Margarita, a delicious concoction that doesn't need to specifically be made on Cinco de Mayo, but can be enjoyed whenever you please.
With the help of my Ninja blender and the following ingredients, I'll be able to walk you through the process one step at a time.
What you'll need:
- Fresh Strawberries
- Frozen Lime-Aid juice concentrate (any brand will suffice)
- Tequila
- Bacardi Lime Rum
- Lime Juice or fresh limes
- Strawberry Daquiri- Margarita syrup
- Sugar
- Blender
Now that you have your ingredients, it's time to sail away to a tropical paradise with this fruit-infused margarita:
