Free Burritos at Caliente for Cinco de Mayo

You can't celebrate Cinco de Mayo without some festive food and drink. Whether it's chips and guac, a spicy margarita (my personal favorite) or a tasty taco, you can't go wrong with some delicious Mexican food.

This year, Cinco de Mayo falls on another big day: Taco Tuesday! Talk about kismet. One local restaurant is celebrating the day the only way they know how: with free burritos.

"Every year we keep the Cinco de Mayo tradition alive at Caliente. This year is no different," Caliente shared on its Facebook page.

When to Get Your Free Burrito

On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, hungry customers can score a free burrito from any of the Caliente Mexican Grill locations from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Plus, you can see Michaela Johnson from The MGM Show live at the Dartmouth location from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

A Tradition of Free Burritos Since 2005

The burrito giveaway is an annual tradition that Caliente Mexican Grill looks forward to each and every year. It began in 2005 and over the years Caliente has given away thousands of tasty burritos.

What’s on the Caliente Menu Besides Burritos?

In addition to burritos, Caliente offers a wide variety of menu options including tacos (the birria tacos are an MGM Show favorite), quesadillas, loaded nacho fries, wet chimichanga, carne asada and more.

On top of the extensive Mexican cuisine, Caliente offers a variety of subs, wraps, desserts, and even a kids' menu.

4 Amazing Margarita Mixes That You Must Try

Whatever the occasion, tequila and margaritas are never a bad idea! I know that margaritas aren’t that hard to make from scratch, and I enjoy doing that, but sometimes it's just cleaner and easier to buy the mixes and just add your favorite tequila.

However, there are countless mixes available, but not all are created equal. Tequila is my favorite spirit, and after years of enjoying it in margaritas, here are 4 of my favorites that I think you’ll also enjoy.

All of these work with just about any tequila and are available at most liquor stores and online. If you are pouring tequila into a mix, you don’t have to buy a $50 bottle of Don Julio, but you should still get something you like.
