Texting and driving is not a good mix on any level. Some do it unintentionally because we are all groomed to looking at our smartphone whenever someone stops talking, or we tune out the world to see what app we can play with. Now, Apple is upgrading the car in 2014 with 'CarPlay.'

According to Apple's website, it looks like you plug your iPhone 5, 5C, or 5S, 5C into your car, kind of like an AUX input, and on a screen will display your phone, messages, maps, and music, all controlled by Siri.

The vehicles getting an immediate upgrade will be models by Ferrari, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes and Volvo. All the other guys will be onboard down the road.

Congratulations. Now, you'll truly have an iCar. Just watch those updates.
