How about a part time or even a full time job where you set your own schedule and work as much or as little as you like?  It can happen when you decide to drive for the Uber or Lyft ride sharing services.  You can even drive for both at the same time.  I did.

During my final few months in Phoenix, AZ, I drove part time for both Uber and Lyft. I signed-in to both on certain days off, and on evenings when a major event was going on in the city.  As a matter of fact, on New Year's Eve I drove for a few hours and earned over $700.

Drivers for either service must be at least 21, been licensed for at least one year, pass a background check, and provide proof of insurance.  Your vehicle needs to have 4 doors and be able to pass the inspection.  If you don't own one, you can rent or lease one from Uber (they are pricey).
