Two Massachusetts Rescue Pups Competing In The Puppy Bowl
We're days away from the 'big game' and the competitors are ready to win your heart and hopefully get adopted.
No, we're not talking about this weekend's Super Bowl, we're talking abut this weekend's Puppy Bowl. Because that's where two Massachusetts rescue dogs will be competing this Sunday.
Puppy Bowl XXI will be a three-hour televised event across Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, Max and discovery+ and it hopes to get 142 rescue puppies new homes before the time is up.

Hailing from the Great Dog Rescue New England, and perhaps named by a DC Comics fan, are Bark Kent and Lex Woofer.
Bark Kent's sweet face will have fans routing for Team Fluff, who was outscored 72-69 at last year's Puppy Bowl XX.
Meanwhile Lex Woofer will try to keep Team Ruff's win streak going 142 rescue pups are 'unleashed' on the playing field.
Both puppies are mainly just hoping to "inspire families across the country to adopt a new furry friend" as Howard Lee, Chief Creative Officer of U.S. Networks and President of Discovery Networks put it.
The 142 dogs come from 80 shelters in 40 states and two different countries. All will be available for adoption during the Puppy Bowl XXI broadcast on Sunday.
