We've all had bad days with the kids. I thought it would be fun to share the top mom rants from this week here on the SouthCoast.

As a mom of two active boys, I've had many many amazing days with them but have had some "not so good" days also. There was a period of time when they were a lot younger and I was home with them, not working, for about two and a half years. They were 2 and 5 years old. I felt so grateful that my husband and I were able to pull that off.

When they were brand new babies and I had to go back to work (and I loved/love my job) it was difficult to leave them at that 3-month mark. It ended up being totally fine and we were able to balance the work/kid thing pretty well during those younger years before they started going to elementary school. Then it got easier but harder at the same time. Lots of activities, school events, sports, church commitments and family time, and oh yeah, we also had to work.

Look, we LOVE our kids, but sometimes they can drive us crazy. It may not be the just the kids directly, but there are things that are OK to complain about. We're all in this together.

I got a bunch of legit mom rants from friends on Facebook and wanted to share them with you:

Rant #1 Carla in Dartmouth says, "I know I am not the only mom who is doing this on the daily but I'm kind of tired of spending 4 hours every afternoon in the same position, sitting on my butt in my car trucking my kids (and their friends) all over creation. I do chose to pick them up from school, that's on me. I've got 3 in three different school. No sooner do I get home with one, I'm heading out to get the next one and then my high schooler finishes his practices when I'm picking up my middle school child after her arts and crafts club.I get home, make sure homework is done then back on the road we go for dance class, drums and a high school basketball game. My husband helps but the carting around is mostly me (he's still at work and commutes home from Boston). Uhg, I just want one week of NOTHING, help!"

Rant #2 Debbie in Fall River says, "All I want is to take my yoga class on Wednesday nights, is that too much to ask?  I love my husband but seriously, I do the brunt of the work load when it comes to the kids, I've got 2 girls under the age of 6.  All I want is to take my yoga class on Wednesday nights after dinner. Is that too much to ask? As soon as I'm clearing the table and situating the kids after their tubs something happens which prevents me from getting to my class. It would be great if my husband would just tell me to "go to my class, I got this. But no."

Rant #3 Jen in Fairhaven says, "If I don't lose this weight by June, I'm gonna kill myself. After my second child two years ago I started getting really mad at myself for not having done anything to get this weight off. And here we are. I still have 30ish pounds to lose. I have no time, help!"

Rant #4 Michelle from West Wareham says, "Would they please just clean up after themselves in the kitchen? If I come home one more night after work to a sink full of dishes, I'm gonna lose it."

Rant #5 Melinda in Swansea wrote, "I swear to God, if I enter my sons room and smell the God awful stank that's been lingering since last week, he is finished. I've warned him all week to be ready for Friday's room inspection."
