Too Hot for Hot Coffee?

It's been a hot and muggy few days here on the SouthCoast. Chelsea Priest is calling for another sticky day with highs in the mid 80's, we may even flirt with 90 degrees at points this afternoon.

Inexplicably, however, my wife will be drinking HOT coffee this morning. I just can't fathom how someone could willingly drink hot beverages when the weather is the way it is today. I would imagine iced coffees would be the way to go?

We talked about it this morning on Michael and Maddie, and I was shocked to hear just how many people say they "start" their day with a hot coffee, but then might grab an iced coffee on the way into work, or maybe sometime in the afternoon after lunch (or on the way home).

One woman called us to say, "I like my iced coffee, but Monday through Friday I have to have my hot coffee on the way into work."

Another said, "I have my hot coffee every day, even if it's hot outside. I'm in the car, I've got a long commute, and I have the A/C on, I think it's comforting to have something warm. I don't like to be cold, so it's almost like a warm hug with every sip."

There were a number of #TeamMaddies out there, though. Amy sent us a message on the Fun 107 app saying "I'm iced coffee all day/every day. It doesn't matter if it's a blizzard outside. I need my iced."
