Tiverton Casino Sets Opening Date

We now know when the new Tiverton Casino Hotel will be open. Twin River will open their new property just outside of Fall River one month sooner than expected. The casino management announced that the opening day will be Saturday, September 1st.

According to heraldnews.com, construction crews ran ahead of schedule in building the 100,000 square foot casino,84-room hotel and parking garage. The story says that most of the exterior work is completed, and now final touches are being done to the restaurant area and food court.

The new casino will have 1,000 slot machines plus 32 gaming tables. There will also be a sit-down Italian restaurant and other places to buy food. More than 500 people are in the process of being hired to work at the new Tiverton casino.
