The Trick to Finally Saying Goodbye to Mile-Long CVS Receipts
Question: is there anything more annoying than those darn mile-long CVS receipts? Answer: Probably, but it's still pretty annoying.
It happens to most of us: you walk into a CVS for one single item or perhaps a couple of things. You make your way to the cash register and the cashier rings up your stuff. Next thing you know, you're being handed your change and a receipt that's as long as an NBA player's wingspan.
Well, I don't know about you, but it's time for a change.
I did a little research to find some kind of answer to get rid of those pesky receipts and low and behold, I struck gold.
It blows my mind to think that the answer all along was right here in my hand, and also in yours. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you the CVS App:
All of the Extra Bucks and coupons you would normally get on that ridiculous receipt printout will automatically go right onto your card without having to bring back a piece of paper.
Absolutely genius.
However, there is one extra step you have to take in order to go completely paperless, and it involves a little help from customer service.
Before downloading the app (which is step 1), you first have to go into a CVS and speak with a cashier or representative to sign up for the CVS ExtraCare Rewards Program. Be sure to sign up for the emailed receipts, which will also grant you extra discounts and offers.
Imagine a world without five-foot long CVS receipts? It's actually a lot more possible than you think.
