For many, many years, my family has been fans of the rolls and cinnamon butter at Texas Roadhouse in North Dartmouth. True story: when my son was a toddler, we'd often stop into Texas Roadhouse just to buy the rolls for him to eat.

I've often said the cinnamon butter could be spread on nearly anything to improve the taste dramatically. In fact, looking back in the Fun 107 archives, I've realized that I have a certain obsession with the Texas Roadhouse butter.

They got a mention in this article from January of 2018 when we analyzed which local restaurant had the best bread. While Texas Roadhouse arguably has some of the most delicious bread and butter, they were immediately disqualified because they are a chain.

Six months later, I was at it again, writing about which SouthCoast sides I wished could be purchased in stores. Coming in at No. 5 was the Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter.

If you have always wished the same thing, your life changes today. My wife found Land O Lakes cinnamon butter in Stop & Shop today in the dairy section. I saw my wife and daughter excitedly trying it before dinner tonight. At first, I thought it was some funky hazelnut type of spread. Then I heard one of them say, "OMG, it tasted JUST like Texas Roadhouse!" and THAT got my attention.

I am thrilled to report that the Land O Lakes cinnamon butter is an exact replica of the restaurant's signature butter.

The possibilities are now endless. I'm already trying to decide whether to spread it on a bagel or an English muffin tomorrow. I see more carbs in my future.
