Dartmouth Texas Roadhouse Honoring All Veterans with a Free Lunch
Veterans Day is coming up on Monday. Unlike many modern-day national holidays, it is observed not as a forced Monday holiday, but on the actual day of remembrance.
Veterans Day observes the end of World War I, when the Treaty of Versailles was signed in France. The war was declared over on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Veterans Day is observed on the 11th day of the 11th month to honor everyone that has ever served our country in the military.
The holiday is really intended to thank living veterans for their sacrifice. That's why Dartmouth's Texas Roadhouse wants to honor SouthCoast veterans on Monday with a free lunch.
Texas Roadhouse is not normally open on weekdays for lunch, but they decided to open on Monday and offer the free lunch.
All veterans can go into the restaurant and receive a free lunch. They can order from a special Veterans Day menu. They'll get a free meal and free soft drink. The offer is happening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The offer is for active, retired or reserve veterans. Veterans just need to show proof that they have served in the military.
They'll also be able to eat as many of those ridiculously delicious warm rolls that are served at Texas Roadhouse with the cinnamon butter as they can handle.
Please share this info with the veterans in your life.
Lunch will be available for anyone to order that day, but obviously only veterans will be able to get the free lunch.
