SWANSEA — Swansea police are looking for the suspect who made off with several thousand dollars' worth of guitars in a music store break-in late Sunday night.

Police were called to a burglar alarm sounding at Ray Mullin Music at 103 Swansea Mall Dr. at around 11:40 p.m. Sunday.

Officers arrived to find damage to the front door, but police said they didn't find anyone inside after a sweep of the premises.

An investigation later revealed that high-end guitars worth several thousand dollars were stolen, according to police.

Video surveillance footage from the store shows two suspects prying the front door open with a crowbar, then taking several guitars.

Police said the suspects were dressed in dark colors and had their faces covered, and likely fled in a dark compact SUV.

An investigation into the break-in is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the incident or suspects is asked to contact Officer Jonathan Furtado or Det. Eric Thibault at 508-674-8464.
