SWANSEA (WBSM) — Authorities are investigating after a motorcycle crash last weekend sent three people to the hospital and left them in critical condition.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police troopers responded just after 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 19 to reports of a motorcycle crash on Route 195 westbound in Swansea in the area of Exit 8.

Troopers arrived and found three motorcycle drivers on the roadway, each suffering from significant injuries.

The three people – a 36-year-old man, a 53-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman – were transported to a local hospital. The D.A.’s Office said all three remain hospitalized in critical condition.

The investigation into the crash remains active and ongoing and is being investigated by Massachusetts State Police assigned to the D.A.’s Office.
