The SouthCoast’s Top 8 Spots to Grab a Grilled Cheese

There's never a bad time for comfort food. It's not just delicious; It also seems to ease all of your worries and give you that warm and cozy feeling deep in your belly. From mashed potatoes and lasagna to mac and cheese and fried chicken, the list of comfort foods could go on for quite a while.

April 12 is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day, so it's only fitting that we'd give you a taste of some of the area's most beloved places to grab a sammy, according to people right here on the SouthCoast.

Personally, I love my grilled cheese with some pepper jack, some pesto and some bacon. There was actually a point during my freshman year of college where I would order this from the dining hall just about every day, and I'm still convinced that's the reason why the Freshman 15 exists. Man, was it good, though.
