Dartmouth Two Sisters Portuguese Catering Business Up for Sale
Caitlyn Fontes is ready to move on. It's been nearly 10 years since she launched the Two Sisters with her sister, Courtney. The business plan was based around great Portuguese food and a food truck, which quickly grew to two food trucks.
It's been an up-and-down journey through the years, but she says it is time to shed some of the burden of running the business alone.
She has decided to put Two Sisters Catering up for sale.
How Much to Buy the Two Sisters Catering Business?
Fontes has decided to price the entire business at $250,000. That figure will buy you the Two Sisters Catering name, the catering company and the takeout business at 743A Dartmouth St. in Dartmouth.
Two Sisters Asset-Only Sale is Another Option
Fontes says if a sale of the entire business doesn't work, she'd like to walk away with an asset-only sale of the turnkey business.
"I'll just keep my Two Sisters name," she said. "I'll just do it on the side. Somebody will just acquire the space. There is a lease attached to the Two Sisters business, but the space is ready for preparing food. Everything I've put into the business, all the money I put into it, I'd just get that back at that time of the sale. They could run a pizza place or whatever they'd like out of there."

What Fontes Learned from Owning Two Sisters
"Life's life. It's a journey," Fontes said. "There's some good and some bad. I had the privilege and honor to do some amazing things with my company. I've built amazing relationships along the way. I wouldn't change a thing. I'm going to walk away with dignity, honor and respect."
What Will Fontes Do After the Sale of Two Sisters?
Fontes says she plans on taking some time off to spend time with family, but she's also going to stay in the game with some event catering that she already has booked.
"I'm kind of happy not knowing what I'm going to do next," she said.
