SouthCoast Experiences to Consider Gifting This Holiday Season
My husband and I got married over the summer. As a wedding gift, I gave him a bottle of his favorite whiskey with a custom label, a fancy watch, and a new bottle of cologne to mark the occasion. His gift to me was not something that I would open that morning, but something to experience at a later time.
Wedding planning was a little stressful, so Greg decided that time spent relaxing after the big day would be just what the doctor ordered. He booked a full day of pampering with two treatments at a local spa and the package included a brunch for two ahead of the services. Not only did I get to experience something I’ve never done before, and let all the stress melt away in the process, but we got to spend some quality time together that day as well. This guy knows me so well, it’s scary.
What I love about this type of gift is that it was extremely thoughtful. That’s why I propose that this holiday season, we spend a little extra time thinking about what experiences our loved ones would appreciate. With only a couple of weeks to go, now is the time to consider how they enjoy spending their time and ask yourself how your gift can help them with their interests and hobbies.
If the kids in your life already have a room full of toys, consider memories filled with love, fun, and excitement to be the better option this holiday season. Bonus points if it's something that allows you and your loved one to spend time together.
