A Seekonk spa cancelled all appointments this week and permanently shut their doors.

Tranquil Waters Day Spa & Salon shut their doors on Wednesday and left nothing but a handwritten note as way of explanation to their clients who still thought they had appointments.

Calls were made to tell people that their Wednesday appointments were cancelled because the Fall River Ave location was closing for good.

Clients tell NBC 10 that there was no warning they were going out of business and many people said they had recently purchased or received gift certificates to the spa...that clearly can't be used now.

The business also shut down their website and removed themselves from Facebook, so angry customers can't even reach anyone to get more information about what's going on.

NBC 10 reports that owner June Ferreira would only respond to them via text message and other people familiar with Ferreira say she moved out her rental home on Monday and closed another business of hers in Pawtucket, RI, a burger place, a few weeks ago.

Many frustrated former clients are now really going to need a spa day after all of this.
