We have a social-distanced solution for meeting Santa Claus this Christmas season that's quite brilliant.

How does it sound to not have to deal with long lines or upset children crowding your space? Well, over at JNJ Woodworking, it’s just you and your family in the comfort of your own car.

The woodworking shop is hosting a drive-thru meet-and-greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus on December 13 and 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Even better, Santa will also be collecting canned goods for local families in need, so if you're in the holiday spirit of giving, head on down to JNJ Woodworking, located at 864 Mill Street in Marion, with a can or two of nonperishables.

Helping those who might go hungry this holiday season will definitely put you on Santa's "nice" list, and you'll also get the warm and fuzzy feeling of doing something for the community all without having to leave your own car.

JNJ Woodworking was founded by John Nadeau, an artisan woodworker whose specialty is in reclaimed wood and metal. He takes said wood and metal and uses it to create custom, one-of-a-kind furniture. He also uses new materials and expertise for repairing and finishing furniture as well.

You can find any further information at www.jnjwoodworking.net. Be sure to check them out if you’re interested in some extra holiday cheer this year that's perfect for the entire family to get together while also maintaining a safe and healthy distance from other spectators.
