On Friday, Samantha Johnson will return home to preform at New Bedford's September 11th ceremony.

The New Bedford girl that captured the hearts of the Southcoast and America was only 12 years old when America was attacked on 9/11.  She will be singing at New Bedford's ceremony that is happening at 9:30 a.m. on the steps of New Bedford City Hall. The event will honor police and fire departments, first responders, veterans and, of course, the victims from the terrorist attacks.  Samantha is expected to sing something "patriotic and reflective" according to the mayor's office.
