An adorable dog from Rhode Island is competing in this year's puppy bowl on Animal Planet!

Paddington was a rescue dog from the East Greenwich Animal Protection League in Cranston.

As they say on their Facebook page she is one of the 'Bear pups' and has been chosen to participate in this year's Puppy Bowl airing on Animal Planet on February 4th.

This super cute pup even got a send off from the Super Bowl bound New England Patriots!

She spent some time on the field of Gillette Stadium with Pat the Patriot and a few cheerleaders before leaving for her own 'big game.'

The Puppy Bowl is a pre-taped event that airs on Animal Planet during the Super Bowl. This year the 'big game' features the Pup-triots and the B-eagles and the match up starts at 3 p.m. with pre-game coverage beginning at 8 a.m.

I kinda can't imagine watching that many hours of Puppy Bowl action, but if you are into it the East Greenwich Animal Protection League is hosting a game day event at their Cranston location.

They'll even be putting on a local Puppy Bowl..and Paddington will be there!

You can get tickets for just $5 and then spend your Super Bowl Sunday with puppies you could adopt and make your own.
