Bundle up your four-legged friends this weekend for a block 'pawty' that is going to the dogs in the best way possible.

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Downtown Providence will be hosting its first-ever free, pet-friendly holiday festival to support the Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL).

From 12 P.M. - 4 P.M., the corner of Westminster and Aborn Street will be filled with local vendors, live entertainment, festive décor and plenty of dog-gone family fun.

For those who want to include the family dog in their festive fun this season, Providence is holding the Holiday Paws Downtown Block Pawty. This four-hour, family friendly event is sure to get you and your pet in the holiday spirit.

What to Expect at Holiday Paws

There will be pet photos with Santa available, pup cups and treats for sale, pet friendly gifts to purchase and lots of dog activities planned. Plus proceeds will be benefitting PARL and helping provide rescue and relief for homeless animals.
