Pedestrian Killed On Route 132 In Hyannis

A woman was hit by a truck and killed last night near the Cape Cod Mall. Just before 9 p.m, 50-year-old Zhou Caron, from Hyannis was crossing Route 132, one of the Cape's most dangerous roads, near the Christmas Tree Shop when a pickup truck hit her.

According to WFXT-TV, police said she was carrying packages at the time of the crash and her husband said she may have been finishing up Christmas shopping.The driver of the 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck stopped and cooperated with police. Accident reconstruction teams are currently on the scene, and are investigating the crash.
