Patriots Themed Playground Coming To Fall River

A New England Patriots themed playground will be built at Maplewood Park...courtesy of the Patriots organization.

Fall River mayor Jasiel Correia announced the news about the playground donation by the New England Patriots and Robert Kraft on Facebook today and the photos look amazing.

Practically every piece of playground equipment has the Patriots team logo on it, which I think is super cool.

No word on when construction on the new playground will begin...or if actual Patriots players will be around to build it!

From the photo rendering of the new playground it looks like there will be climbing features for older kids as well as a smaller slide/climbing combo for younger children.

If you've never been to Maplewood Park, you may want to take the kids later this year. It currently features primarily baseball fields, so the playground addition is going to be fantastic for lots of local families.

We'll keep our eyes peeled for the details on when construction could begin and who might do the building!
