Own One of the Oldest Pieces of Salem’s History [PHOTOS]
The Daniel's House was built in 1667 and is one of the oldest residences in Salem.
Originally, this home was built for Shipwright Stephen Daniels and is now known as 'The Daniel's House'. When it was first constructed, it was a much smaller, 4-room house. However, Daniel's great-grandson later enlarged the house in 1756. It now has 15 rooms and 13 fireplaces.
Most recently, the home has been used as an inn and bed and breakfast. But according to the Zillow listing, it does need substantial work both inside and outside. But if you love Salem or historic homes and furnishings, you might want to buy this place as is with all the furniture inside.
While we couldn't find any information about The Daniel's House being haunted, it does look rather spooky.
