Breast Cancer Awareness Month has begun and this year Ocean Spray is recognizing it with a special new drink.

Last month Ocean Spray harvested their first ever pink cranberries to create a new juice drink that is raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

And the harvesting of this unique fruit was something to behold as well.

Back on September 13th, the Ocean Spray bogs in Lakeville and Middleboro were the sight of the first Picking Pink Cranberries for a Purpose event where millions of cranberries were used to create a floating pink ribbon.

The floating breast cancer symbol used over 15.5 million cranberries to create with over 79 million harvested at the event overall.

And now those millions of cranberries are in bottles of the new Pink Cranberry Juice Drink that you can find on the shelves of your favorite supermarket.

The drinks, in both a light and regular version, are on sale now with 5% of all sales in the United States and Canada going directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

This organization offers education and support services for women with breast cancer as well as free mammograms for those in need to help ensure every woman can get the early detection they need.

You can support this great cause for millions of women with just a drink purchase, so why not sip and support all fall long.
