New Providence Biscuit Spot’s Surprising Best Restaurant Ranking
Another new Rhode Island restaurant is getting national recognition.
USA Today recently shouted out their Top 10 Best new eateries across the country and a Providence biscuit spot made the list.
While most people might expect a seafood restaurant is come out on top from the Ocean State, it's actually homemade Southern creations that are getting the rave reviews.
USA Today kicked off 2025 with several new lists of things to try in the new year. One of those lists was the "best restaurants in the US that you need to try in 2025." Among their top 10, a Providence biscuit spot came in at #7.
Irregardless Biscuit started out as a monthly pop-up shop on Broadway in Providence with limited menus telling fans what they could expect and when on social media.
Often selling out of their amazing biscuit creations the pop-up began to literally pop-up more often until the owners realized they needed a permanent location.
Last spring they opened their brick-and-mortar spot at 94 Carpenter Street in Providence’s West End and clearly things have been going great ever since.
Their tasty biscuit sandwiches are now getting national recognition thanks to USA Today, making it the second Rhode Island restaurant to get a national nod in as many months.
