Viral Dessert Chain Opens First New England Location in Providence

A viral dessert restaurant has officially opened in Providence, adding a sweet new spot to the Federal Hill food scene.

Though this historic area of Providence is known for its Italian food, The Peach Cobbler Factory is bringing something completely different with an array of warm cobblers, banana pudding and other Southern-style sweets.

The trendy new spot just opened at 102 Dean Street and is the first Peach Cobbler Factory location in New England.

Initial crowds are likely to be large, thanks to the chain's massive social media hype. People seem to love The Peach Cobbler Factory's late-night comfort food concept and bright, energetic atmosphere. Upbeat music playing from the shop really sets the mood when you walk through the door.

In fact, knowing how difficult it can be to choose just one thing to try, The Peach Cobbler Factory offers "dessert flights" with four mini versions of its sweets, so you don't have to settle for just one.

Peach Cobbler Factory Hours in Providence

You also don't have to wait until after dinner for dessert. The Peach Cobbler Factory in Providence will be open Sunday through Tuesday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 12 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Friday and Saturday 12 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

Though I may not be showing up at 1 a.m., I do know that my first dessert flight will include the namesake peach cobbler alongside caramel apple cobbler, Nutella pudding and chocolate chip pudding. What will you create?
