New Providence Event Will Bring Foodies to Town This March
A perfectly-timed Providence food event will have those who love to eat mixing with those who love to laugh this spring.
In March the Providence Culinary Collective is hosting their inaugural Food & Wine Festival in the city on the same weekend another first time event kicks off.
Both experiences are sure to pack the city with tourists and famous faces.
Earlier this month, the first ever Lil Rhody Laugh Riot was announced, with headliner Kevin Hart performing during the weekend long event.

That event is planned from March 27-30 and is expected to bring dozens of big names in comedy to several Providence venues during the four-day festival.
Now comes word that during those same four days in March, foodies will have a festival of their own in town.
The first-ever Food & Wine For Everyone Event will bring signature tastings, demos, and specially curated paired dinners to various city-wide locations as well.

The event seems to offer options for all sorts of foodies, too. There's everything from food truck festivities to small bite samplings, cooking classes and paired meals from acclaimed chefs and sommeliers.
Plus celebrity chef appearances are scheduled, including a meet and greet with Mary Ann Esposito, chef and host of PBS' Ciao Italia with Mary Ann Esposito.
Who knows what other celebrities might also come to town to eat and laugh next March.
