This past June, Gillette Stadium was filled with fans ready to watch Tom Brady take the field once again.

The legendary New England Patriots quarterback returned to Foxboro for the first Hall of Fame ceremony held inside the stadium that Brady brought six Super Bowl championships to during his twenty years with the team.

But if those same fans thought they would see the G.O.A.T. at Gillette again this year, they'll have to think again.

During that same June ceremony, Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced plans to create a statue of Brady for outside Gillette Stadium. The artwork has been commissioned and the plan was to unveil the piece during this 2024 season.

But the plan has changed.

Now New England Patriots fans looking to see a 12-foot statue of TB12 are going to have to keep on waiting.

Seems the team's goal was to unveil the bronze Brady statue with Tom at the stadium for the reveal. However, Brady's new broadcasting job is keeping him too busy to return for a game day.

Fox Sports was supposed to cover the Patriots vs Dolphins game on October 6th, but with Tua Tagovailoa out for concussion protocol the network decided not to send the top crew to cover the game.

That means there are no other games that would bring Brady around during the current season, so the plan for the statue reveal won't happen this season either.

Instead the goal is to get Brady back to Gillette at some point during the 2025 regular season so another ceremony and official unveil can take place with the man himself in attendance.

With no schedule for the 2025 season released and Brady's broadcasting schedule not slowing down, this could ultimately mean another pre-season event at Gillette just to bring Brady back to town.
