New Bedford Chowderfest 2023 Results, Winners and Tastiest Soups

Once again, the One Southcoast Chamber pulled off an incredible Chowderfest.

Despite the rain, it was perfect "sweater weather" for hot soup to warm the soul. Although there weren't as many vendors as in previous years, it couldn't have gone better. I left feeling satisfied and not over-bloated, and it was easier to remember and distinguish each restaurant's product as I made my way down the line.

I wouldn't have changed a thing if it were up to me.

Upon arrival, the volunteers and members of the One Southcoast Chamber of Commerce were busy as bees ensuring a smooth turnkey operation throughout Pier 3 in New Bedford

“A little rain didn’t stop the party on the pier," One Southcoast Chamber Vice President of Marketing and Events- Katie Greene said, "It was perfect weather to warm up with soup and chowder, beer and cocktails, and of course some dancing to the band. We had a great turnout and can’t wait to see everyone again next year. This event wouldn’t be possible without all our sponsors, partners, volunteers, and patrons and we thank everyone for their continued support.”

This annual event gets votes from two parties: the people and the judges. Here are this year's final results for the best chowder, specialty soups, and table presentations.
