Nearby Town One Of Happiest in America

The results have been released.  House Beautiful has announced what they consider to be the happiest small towns in the USA, and one is not far from the Southcoast.

The seaside town of Barnstable on Cape Cod is number 7 on the list of the 25 happiest towns.  The reason is that beachside areas have less depression.

The publication also says that the clam shacks and water views available in Barnstable add to the upbeat mood of the town.  Other mall towns on the "happiest" list include Hilton Head Island, Naples, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
