Mother Publicly Shames Daughter For Twerking At School Dance

It seems as though the twerking craze is quickly going down hill. A mother in Bakersfield, CA is punishing her 11-year-old daughter for twerking at a  school dance by making her stand on a busy street corner, holding a sign. 

The girl's mother says that she is doing a punishment like this to show the world that it is not okay for a child to do a dance like this. She also says that she is going to go to school with her a few days a week, just to be a positive presence  in her life.

While we understand where the mother is coming from, going to school with her daughter might be a a bit much.
